Value for Money

The Magico S7 makes its case with exceptionally controlled bass: deep, informative and precisely shaped rather than merely oversized. Audiodrom finds its low end arrives with convincing physical authority only when the music demands it, preserving an organised, disciplined presentation. With three 10-inch woofers and a diamond-coated beryllium tweeter, this is a formidable high-end floorstander for listeners who value low-frequency precision.
Pros
Exceptionally informative, controlled and precisely shaped bass.
Delivers deep, physical low-frequency authority when the programme material calls for it.
Disciplined low end supports an organised, controlled overall presentation.
Cons
Available review evidence offers little direct assessment of midrange, treble, imaging or full-range dynamics.

What Reviewers Are Saying
SOUND QUALITY PERFORMANCE 82/100
The available listening evidence points to an exceptionally controlled, orderly low end that reaches deep when the recording calls for it. However, this review provides little direct coverage of the midrange, treble, stereo presentation, or dynamic behavior, so the broader sonic picture remains incomplete.
Bass
91/100
Audiodrom describes the bass as extremely informative, controlled, and precisely shaped rather than simply massive or athletic. It is said to arrive only when needed, contributing depth and physical pressure without disrupting the speaker's organised presentation.
Mid
78/100
The supplied review does not directly discuss vocal realism, tonal color, midrange openness, or crossover coherence. Its comments about overall organisation are encouraging, but they do not establish a detailed midrange verdict.
Treble
78/100
The review provides no specific listening observations on treble extension, air, detail, or possible brightness. Reviewers therefore say little about how the diamond-coated beryllium tweeter performs in practice.
Soundstage Imaging
78/100
There are no direct comments on soundstage width, depth, image focus, or layering in the supplied review. The description of a controlled presentation does not by itself indicate how convincingly the S7 images.
Dynamics
78/100
The review notes that the woofers can produce physical air pressure when called upon, suggesting convincing low-frequency impact. It does not otherwise address macro headroom, transient speed, or fine dynamic contrast across a range of music.
Assessments of Build Quality, Usability, and Overall Propositions.
Build Quality
75/100
The supplied review contains no direct assessment of cabinet finish, resonance control, terminals, driver execution, or long-term craftsmanship. The specifications describe a substantial five-driver loudspeaker, but reviewers say little about its construction in use.
Value for Money
85/100
At $99,000, the S7 competes in an uncompromising luxury-speaker segment. The supplied review does not directly weigh its performance against similarly priced alternatives or comment on whether the asking price is justified.

Manufacturer's Description — Magico
The Ultimate Expression of the S Series
Magico proudly introduces the S7 2026, the monumental conclusion to its critically acclaimed S Series. A 384-pound, five-driver, three-way loudspeaker, the S7 represents the most ambitious and definitive realization of the platform—bringing together years of research, engineering, and listening experience into a single uncompromising design.
The modern S Series was redefined with the debut of the S3 in 2023, followed by the more ambitious S5, and then the remarkably compact S2. With the arrival of the S7, that journey reaches its pinnacle—bold, imposing, and engineered to deliver reference-level performance worthy of the series’ legacy.
Advanced Engineering
The S7 is the product of an extensive research-and-development program that introduced engineering methodologies now fundamental to Magico’s flagship M Series. During development, engineers employed a Near-Field Scanner (NFS) robot to measure the loudspeaker’s acoustic behavior across the entire three-dimensional sphere surrounding it, producing a complete acoustic map of the speaker’s output.
This comprehensive data enabled precise refinement of both on-axis and off-axis performance, allowing the S7 to approach the theoretical ideal of a multi-way loudspeaker—delivering sound reproduction defined by exceptional accuracy, coherence, and realism.
Architecture Designed for Silence
At the foundation of the S7 is a massive aluminum enclosure shaped through advanced 3D simulation to minimize internal resonances while maximizing rigidity. The curved front baffle reduces diffraction, while Magico’s proprietary damping techniques and laser-vibrometer analysis eliminate even minute cabinet vibrations, ensuring the enclosure contributes no audible coloration to the musical signal.
The optimized structure also increases internal volume from 135 liters to 180 liters compared to the previous S Series flagship, extending bass response by an additional 5Hz while maintaining sensitivity. The result is deeper, more authoritative low-frequency performance without compromise.
Five Drivers, One Voice
Driver technology lies at the core of the S7. Its Nano-Tec Gen 8 cones—aluminum honeycomb cores bonded to graphene-reinforced carbon-fiber skins—deliver exceptional stiffness, low mass, and superior damping for extremely low distortion. A newly engineered third-generation driver chassis further improves force distribution, suspension geometry, and airflow, enhancing both accuracy and reliability.
The five-driver array consists of a diamond-coated pure-beryllium tweeter derived from the M Series, a 6” Nano-Tec Gen 8 midrange driver, and three vertically aligned 10” woofers designed to reduce floor-bounce effects and smooth in-room response. All drivers are unified through Magico’s Elliptical Symmetry Crossover (ESXO), a three-way design with acoustical-target Linkwitz-Riley slopes and premium components from Mundorf and Duelund, ensuring seamless coherence across the audible spectrum.
