Detailed, controlled bass and a silent background give this wireless IEM adapter an impressively hi-fi feel, with SoundStage Solo praising its fast, well-managed sound and The Ear noting how far it outclasses ordinary true wireless gear. It turns detachable-cable earphones into a premium, convenience-first setup without sacrificing much drive or clarity.
Pros
Delivers highly detailed, fast, and controlled sound with strong bass discipline.
Provides a silent background and excellent dynamics with high-sensitivity IEMs.
Offers broad codec support and strong wireless flexibility for high-resolution playback.
Comfortable and secure on the ears despite the bulky form factor, with IPX5 resistance for added durability.
Cons
The charging case and pods are bulky, making them less pocket-friendly than typical true wireless earbuds.
Premium pricing makes it a niche upgrade rather than an easy-value buy.

What Reviewers Are Saying
SOUND QUALITY PERFORMANCE 92/100
Reviewers consistently describe the GO pod as delivering unusually strong sound for a Bluetooth wireless setup, with standout clarity, speed, and control. The main strengths are resolution and dynamics, while the tonal character is presented as clean and convincing rather than obviously colored; the reviews also stress a silent background and enough power for a wide range of IEMs.
Transparency Resolution
94/100
Reviewers repeatedly praise the level of detail and clarity, calling the sound 'fantastic' with 'incredible detail' and 'high dynamic range.' The Ear also says the GO pod’s circuitry and DAC approach deliver sound that is far ahead of regular true wireless earbuds, with the volume handled in a way that preserves resolution.
Tonal Balance Musicality
90/100
The reviews lean toward a clean, controlled, natural presentation rather than a strongly warm or lush one. SoundStage Solo highlights controlled bass and well-managed sound at higher levels, while The Ear frames the result as a high-quality and convincing listening experience with well-chosen IEMs.
Dynamics
94/100
Dynamics are a clear strength in the supplied reviews. SoundStage Solo praises 'fast response' and 'precise attacks on the percussion,' and The Ear specifically points to ultra-low distortion and high dynamic range as part of what helps the GO pod outperform ordinary true wireless gear.
Noise Floor
93/100
The Ear explicitly calls out a 'silent background with high-sensitivity IEMs,' and SoundStage Solo similarly implies a very clean presentation. There are no reports of hiss or background noise, and the reviews suggest the GO pod stays quiet enough to suit sensitive earphones well.
Headphone Compatibility
89/100
Compatibility looks strong for IEMs and adaptable across impedances, with automatic impedance detection and output specified for 16, 32, 64, and 300 ohms. Reviewers say it drives high-performance IEMs with ease and has enough power for high-impedance loads, though the discussion is clearly centered on in-ear monitors rather than full-size headphones.
Assessments of Build Quality, Usability, and Overall Propositions.
Build Quality
88/100
Reviewers describe the pods as lightweight, comfortable, secure, and robust, with IPX5 resistance adding confidence for daily use. SoundStage Solo notes that they are bulky behind the ear, but also says they felt surprisingly comfortable and more secure than most true wireless earphones.
Features Usability
94/100
This is a very feature-rich product for a headphone amplifier, with support for LDAC, LHDC/HWA, aptX Adaptive, aptX, AAC, automatic impedance detection, interchangeable ear loops for multiple connector types, and a companion app. Reviewers also highlight balanced output, volume handling that avoids degrading resolution, mic/call features, and both Qi wireless and USB-C charging, making it unusually versatile and easy to live with.
Value for Money
86/100
The pricing is clearly premium at $399, and the reviews do not call it cheap or a bargain. That said, SoundStage Solo says the sound gap to a wired setup is smaller than you might expect and still worth the portability tradeoff when convenience matters, which supports a respectable but not especially enthusiastic value impression.

Manufacturer's Description — ifi Audio
Transform your favourite IEMs into True Wireless Earbuds.
A true game-changer, our GO pods combine quality and convenience in a single elegant package, with a dedicated DAC chip, Hi-Res Bluetooth codecs and compatibility with almost every IEM imaginable.
GO wireless. GO pod.
Using a pair of GO pods is simple. First, detach the cable from your favourite IEMs and connect the earpieces to the left and right pods. Then, pair the pods with your source device (a smartphone, for example) and hook the ergonomically designed ear loops around your ears to ensure a comfortable fit… the result is unrivalled TWS (True Wireless Stereo) headphone sound.
Charge
The GO pod includes a well-designed charging case with soft-lined compartments for IEMs and pods. Its 1500mAh battery offers up to 7 hours of playback per charge, with the case providing multiple recharges for a total of 35 hours. The case supports both Qi wireless and USB-C fast charging
Distinctly different
True wireless earbuds rely on the SoC (System on a Chip) solution to integrate the requisite tech into a tiny space. The GO pod is distinctly different. Each critical stage is designed separately and optimised individually to ensure excellent sound quality -Bluetooth, DAC and amplification.
Connectors abound
IEM manufacturers use a variety of connection types, but whichever is used by your favourite brand iFi has it covered. The GO pod’s detachable ear loop contains the IEM connector, and these are interchangeable.
The standard GO pod package contains the 0.78mm 2pin and MMCX connectors.
Pentaconn, T2 and A2DC connectors are available separately.
Hi-res Bluetooth
Qualcomm’s 24-bit aptX Adaptive format is also covered, offering sample rates of up to 96kHz, with the additional benefit of QHS (Qualcomm High Speed) providing an extra 300kbps of bandwidth. Other supported codecs include regular aptX, AAC and SBC.
This means that every possible source device is handled at the highest audio resolution its Bluetooth specification allows.
A product made to stand out
The GO pod continues an uncompromising approach, including certification for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Sound platform and Bluetooth 5.2 for optimum range, speed and reliability.
The GO pod is compatible with an impressive array of high-definition Bluetooth formats. LDAC and LHDC (HWA) are both supported to their maximum
Analogue Volume Control
The GO pod benefits from hardware-based analogue volume control. The GO pod doesn’t rely on the software-based volume controls in connected digital devices, which can have a deleterious effect on audio resolution. Instead, adjusting the volume on the connected device controls the volume level in the DAC, rather than in the phone, tablet or computer.
