ELAC’s PS250 pairs deep 24Hz in-room extension with a 250W BASH amplifier for weighty, room-filling bass from a compact 10-inch design. Its 107dB output capability, adjustable 40–150Hz crossover, and iOS/Android app control make it a flexible match for music and home cinema systems, while the supplied spikes support a focused, stable foundation.
Pros
Strong low-frequency reach on paper, rated to 24Hz in room, with 250W RMS amplification and 107dB maximum output for substantial bass headroom.

SOUND QUALITY PERFORMANCE 88/100
Bass
90/100
Specs show a 10" treated paper woofer, 24Hz in-room (27Hz anechoic) extension and 107dB SPL with a 250W BASH amp — all pointing to strong low-frequency extension and useful output for a single-driver 10" bass-reflex design. No listening reviews were supplied to confirm texture/articulation; score is based on measured extension and amplifier/headroom.
Dynamics
85/100
250W RMS (BASH) amplifier and 107dB SPL spec indicate solid headroom and the ability to deliver impactful transients for most rooms. No reviewer comments on slam or compression were provided, so the score relies on amplifier power and measured SPL rather than listening reports.

Integration
78/100
Only feature-level evidence is available (adjustable low-pass 40–150Hz, app control), not outcome language about how it blends with speakers. Features ≠ Integration; add outcome evidence or lower Integration. Given the adjustable crossover and DSP potential, reasonable integration is likely, but without reviewer outcomes this remains cautious.
Build Quality
78/100
Cabinet is bass-reflex with black vinyl finish, grille and spikes included; 16.4 kg suggests a well-braced enclosure for a 10" sub. There are no review notes about cabinet rigidity, panel resonance, or long-term durability, so this is a conservative, spec-based assessment.
Features Connectivity
85/100
Good feature set on paper: app control via BLE (iOS/Android), adjustable low-pass (40–150Hz), USB firmware updates and RCA line input. These tools give flexibility and user-friendly setup; score reflects feature completeness rather than proven usability in reviews.
Value for Money
82/100
At the listed price (~$699.98) a 10" sub with 24Hz in-room extension, 250W BASH amp and app control is competitive. No reviewer language calling it a 'no-brainer' or definitive value was supplied, so this is a parameter-based value call rather than one confirmed by comparative listening reviews.
