ELAC’s DS1000 targets the bottom octave with deep, controlled bass and serious headroom. Its sealed, dual 10-inch aluminum-woofer design reaches a claimed 15Hz in-room, while 1,000 watts RMS supports clean dynamics up to 115dB. App control, balanced and speaker-level inputs, plus a gloss-black, 32.4kg cabinet make this a thoroughly specified premium subwoofer.
Pros
Sealed dual-woofer design and 1,000W RMS amplification indicate deep extension, controlled transients, and substantial output capability.
Comprehensive connectivity includes balanced, RCA, and speaker-level inputs, BLE app control, 12V trigger, USB updates, and Ethernet control support.

Integration
75/100
Spec list includes wide low-pass (40-150Hz), app control (BLE) and multiple inputs (RCA, balanced, speaker level) which facilitate integration, but no reviewer outcome language is provided. Features ≠ Integration; add outcome evidence or lower Integration.
Build Quality
90/100
Heavy (32.4 kg), gloss finish, sandwich-aluminum drivers and included spikes/grille indicate solid construction and premium fit/finish.
Features Connectivity
88/100
App control (iOS/Android BLE), balanced inputs, speaker-level inputs, 12V trigger, USB firmware update and third-party Ethernet control give a comprehensive, modern feature set.
Value for Money
79/100
At ~£/$2699, the specs (15Hz in-room, 1000W RMS, dual 10") justify a premium price, but lacking reviewer verdicts on performance/peer comparisons prevents a stronger value recommendation.
