Value for Money

The Amira brings temporal coherence to a slim Italian floorstander, combining time-aligned drivers, first-order filtering and Helmholine loading for an unusually clean, unforced presentation. 6 Moons highlights its resonance-conscious engineering, while its compact, elegant form makes a persuasive case for listeners who prize musical flow and refined room integration.
Pros
Time-aligned drivers and first-order filtering support a coherent, unforced time-domain presentation.
Damped steel structural grounding is designed to control cabinet and driver-related resonances.
Its price is significantly lower than Albedo's Accuton-equipped sibling, improving range-relative value.
Cons
At €6,890 per pair, it remains an expensive proposition.
Amplifier character may have a stronger influence on the final sound than the speaker's own signature.

What Reviewers Are Saying
SOUND QUALITY PERFORMANCE 75/100
The available listening comments focus on the Amira's time-domain behaviour: its first-order crossover and aligned drivers are said to make it sound unforced and free of "sonic clouds." The excerpts provide little direct assessment of bass reach, tonal colour, treble refinement, imaging scale, or output capability.
Bass
74/100
The supplied review excerpts do not directly describe bass extension, weight, texture, or control. Its single 5.5-inch mid-woofer and 50Hz stated response suggest modest low-frequency ambitions, but no reviewer listening verdict is provided.
Mid
78/100
The review's emphasis on first-order filtering and time-aligned drivers points to a coherent handover through the audible range. However, the excerpts do not specifically discuss vocal realism, tonal richness, or instrumental timbre.
Treble
74/100
Reviewers do not directly comment on the silk-dome tweeter's air, detail, sweetness, or resistance to glare. The stated goal of removing "sonic clouds" is encouraging, but it is not a specific treble assessment.
Soundstage Imaging
75/100
The comments about time alignment and gentle time-domain behaviour suggest a design intended to preserve spatial coherence. The supplied material does not say how wide, deep, focused, or room-filling the resulting stereo image is.
Dynamics
74/100
The review excerpts do not address low-level expression, large-scale punch, or composure at high volume. Amplifier matching is mentioned, with amplifier character appearing more influential than speaker differences in the cited comparison.
Assessments of Build Quality, Usability, and Overall Propositions.
Build Quality
75/100
Albedo describes a damped steel stalk linking the drivers and plinth to provide a path for structural resonances, indicating thoughtful resonance-control engineering. The supplied review material does not offer a hands-on judgement of cabinet finish, terminals, fit and finish, or long-term durability.
Value for Money
82/100
At €6,890 per pair, the Amira is described as expensive, although the reviewer considers its lower price relative to the Accuton-equipped sibling significant. The available commentary stops short of calling it a standout bargain or directly comparing its performance with competing speakers at this price.

Manufacturer's Description — ALBEDO - ITALY
The most compact in Albedo catalogue, Amira is still in the league of true high-fidelity runners. It embodies most of the concepts of original Albedo projects, with that starting blaze of an endeavour to let a small speaker sound as a serious big performer.
Technical specifications basically are in the footsteps of the bigger Aptica ceramic model, but exploiting custom drivers that allow us to offer it in a more compact and versatile design. Same linear phase crossover, same Helmholine loading, same DSD acoustic traps in the unique Albedo style.
Do not let be cheated by its small size. Once in your hi-fi chain, Amira will be able to do something that seldom a new speaker does: it will simply amaze you.
